The International Mass Spectrometry Foundation (IMSF) has appointed Klinkhamer | conferences & events as its Executive & Administration Office, following endorsement by the IMSF Affiliates Meeting during the International Mass Spectrometry Conference (IMSC) in Lyon.
Through this new partnership, Klinkhamer will provide executive secretariat, administrative, financial and organisational support to the IMSF Executive Board — helping to strengthen continuity, improve organisational processes and support the continued professionalisation of the Foundation.
IMSF is a global federation of mass spectrometry societies dedicated to fostering international collaboration, education and scientific excellence within the mass spectrometry community. Through initiatives such as the International Mass Spectrometry Conference (IMSC), the International Mass Spectrometry School (IMSS), international awards and travel grants, IMSF plays an important role in connecting scientists and societies across the world.
Under the four-year agreement, Klinkhamer will support the Executive Board of IMSF through a flexible combination of strategic advisory services, project management and administrative and financial support. The collaboration is designed not only to relieve operational workload, but also to help IMSF further professionalise its organisation and strengthen its long-term development.

The collaboration will officially commence on 1 January 2027, with preparatory support activities already taking place during the transition period.
