24th European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition

The European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition (ESPN) is one of the leading international conferences in the field of poultry nutrition. The 2025 edition took place from 23–25 June at MECC Maastricht and was organised by the national branches of the World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA). Held every two years in a different European host country, the symposium brings together experts from across the continent and beyond.

Throughout the conference, scientists, researchers, nutritionists, and industry professionals gather to exchange knowledge, present new findings, and discuss emerging trends. Key topics include sustainable feeding strategies, alternative protein sources, and the influence of nutrition on animal health and environmental impact.

Alongside the scientific programme, ESPN offers extensive networking opportunities, an exhibition showcasing industry innovations, and a variety of social events such as dinners and receptions. A special emphasis is placed on young researchers, who are encouraged to present their work, connect with peers, and engage with leading experts in the field.
