Brightlands Rolduc Polymer Conference

Brightlands Rolduc Polymer Conferences are a series of conferences in the field of polymer science and technology. They create a platform for academic polymer scientists and industrial researchers working on polymeric materials. At the conference you can meet and link the societal and industrial materials needs of tomorrow with the fundamental and scientific knowledge in the field of polymers.

The conferences are held in Rolduc Abbey, in the south of the Netherlands close to Maastricht. The Abbey buildings give the conferences an intimate atmosphere, with plenty of time for inspiring conversations.

Brightlands Rolduc Polymer Conferences relates the scientific contributions to future applications. During the 2019 edition we focus on “Innovative Polymer Solutions for Future Health”. Polymers are increasingly used in highly demanding biomedical applications, such as body compatible scaffolds for tissue engineering or in drug delivery. In addition, packaging of drugs requires high safety standards and barrier properties depending on special polymeric materials.
